Am I a Good Candidate?

IPL therapy may be your best option for treating redness if you’ve exhausted all of your at-home products. Because treatments are so quick and easy, almost anyone can benefit from the rejuvenating procedure. Men and women with moderate to severe rosacea are good candidates for non-invasive IPL treatments.

IPL treatments can safely and effectively be used to combat rosacea and redness throughout the body including;

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Chest
  • Hands

If you have blotchy, sun-damaged or discolored skin, you may be a good fit for the procedure. IPL therapy is highly customizable according to your skin type, texture, and tone.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

IPL treatments are generally very quick. Treatment is done in-office and takes just 20-30 minutes depending on the area being addressed. In some cases, a topical numbing agent may be applied beforehand. Typically, you can expect to be in and out of your appointment within the hour.

What Results Will I See?

After treatment, pigmentation will darken for the first 24-hours. Over the course of 1-2 weeks, you can expect rosacea and redness to significantly fade. While some patients may be able to get the results they want with a single treatment, most need anywhere from 3-6 sessions to achieve an optimal outcome.

Is There Any Downtime?

IPL is a non-invasive procedure and doesn’t require any downtime. Makeup can be worn immediately after treatment to diffuse any post-treatment redness or swelling. Aside from avoiding additional sun exposure, there are no restrictions with the treatment. Get back to your day-to-day activities directly after IPL therapy.
